The Hempstead High School Select Chorale received an invitation to compete in the March 2011 International Choir Competition in Prague (the capital of the Czech Republic). Our participation in the March 2011 International Choir Competition requires financial assistance above and beyond the past generous donations granted to us by the community. It also requires the chorus to become a non-profit organization. The remarkable beauty of becoming a non-profit organization is that:
· It can involve talented teens, at-risk youths and young adults within the Hempstead community as well as neighboring communities.
· It affords talented teens, at-risk youths and young adults within the Hempstead com munity as well as neighboring communities the opportunity to travel and experience other cultures
· It will establish a partnership with you to fulfill such wonderful performance opportunities for talented teens, at-risk youths and young adults.
