HEMPSTEAD SELECT CHORALE/VOICES OF VIRTUE
BRING HOME THE HIGHEST SCORE
On Saturday, April 2, 2011, Hempstead Chorale and Voices of Virtue was awarded the highest score in an International Choral Competition in Prague, Czech Republic. The group entered the mixed ensemble category as the only chorus to represent the United States of America. Indeed, it is an extreme honor to have earned the highest score out of the other 4 participating choruses from Czech Republic, Italy and Cyprus. This was an exciting journey and experience for our chorus members and we certainly look forward to many more performance opportunities.
